Special Needs Planning
Planning for people with disabilities encompasses several different areas of law. We will spend time with you to fully understand what your specific issues are. We will develop an estate plan that provides for either you or a family member with special needs. This may include drafting a Special Needs Trust. We will also evaluate what public benefits are available to you and how you might qualify. Finally, if you have a special needs child, we will help you navigate their journey into adulthood and what legal documents you may need to give your adult special needs child the most independence and protection. A plan for a person with disabilities may include:
- Special Needs Trust
- Durable Power of Attorney for Finance
- Public Benefits Planning
- Limited Conservatorship
Get informed first. That's our job.
